Meeting Description and Dress Code
Our meeting is different because it is small, so we will mention here what you can expect when attending our worship services.
The Sunday services are held either at the Sherwood Regional Library in Alexandria, or at the home of a member of the ecclesia in Alexandria. When the meeting is held at the library, no collection will be taken. If you want to know when the meeting will be held at the library, you can call them at (703) 765-3645 ext 4.
Sunday School is an informal class where the Gospel is studied. This includes the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ, the commandments of Christ, and Bible apologetics. Bring your Bible, and be prepared to take notes if you wish. It is requested that you attend a meeting with us at the library before you meet with us at the home.
Because of the small size of the group, the Sunday address is usually given on a cd. Communion is held every Sunday, and it is closed communion. Hymns are included on the cd. When we have a visiting speaker, the Sunday address is given live.
We believe when anyone comes to worship with us, one must come with awe, and reverence for God. This should be reflected in one’s attire.
We welcome you to come grow spiritually along with us.
Sunday School begins at 2 PM. The Sunday address is given at 3 PM.
